椰油硫酸鈉
Sodium Coco Sulfate
Sodium Coco Sulfate (Natriumcocosulfat or Natriumcocoylsulfat), abbreviated as SCS, is a substance mixture that acts as an anionic surfactant with washing activity. It is widely used as a detergent and emulsifier, for instance, in cleaning products. SCS is derived from the sodium salts of sulfate esters of coconut or palm oil, obtained by reacting coconut or palm oil with sulfuric acid and then with a sodium salt. Due to the composition of coconut oil, this mixture mainly consists of sodium lauryl sulfate and a complex mixture of similar compounds, such as sodium myristyl sulfate and sodium palmityl sulfate.

Effects in Cosmetics
As a cleanser, it helps remove grease and dirt from the skin and hair.
As an emulsifier, it promotes the mixing of water and oil components, improving product texture and application.
Lower skin irritancy, potentially less irritating to the skin compared to sodium lauryl sulfate (Natriumlaurylsulfat).
Source
Extracted from coconut or palm oil.
Obtained by reacting coconut or palm oil with sulfuric acid, followed by a reaction with sodium salt.
Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals
Studies suggest that Sodium Coco Sulfate is less irritating to the skin than sodium lauryl sulfate, making it a relatively mild cleansing ingredient.
The Sodium Coco Sulfate component of our company's products is derived from plants and complies with the safety content standards of the European Union and Taiwan.
