Laurel Essential Oil / Laurus nobilis

Laurel essential oil is extracted from the Laurel tree (Laurus nobilis), an evergreen tree native to the Mediterranean coast, reaching up to 9 meters in height. The leaves of the Laurel tree are lance-shaped, thick and shiny, with flowers in cream yellow and fruits as black berries. It is also cultivated in Taiwan and adds flavor to the West Indian beverage Bay Rum. Morocco and Spain are its main production areas.
