α-Amylcinnamaldehyde (α-Amylzimtaldehyd) is a fragrance that, when diluted, emits a jasmine-like aroma. Therefore, for legal reasons, α-Amylcinnamaldehyde continues to be classified as an artificial flavoring agent.
